ON Tuesday at 6pm people around the world, including in the UK and Harlow, will mark the anniversary of George Floyd’s death.

That event awakened millions to the extent and effect of racism in our countries and its devastating impact on people’s lives.

A determination to see real change has taken root. 

In Harlow, a commemorative event will take place at the Town Park bandstand where local people, working with those in Bishop Stortford, will mark the milestone with speeches, poetry and ‘taking the knee’.
