RECENTLY, we went down to the Abercrombie Way, where Community Embrace have their base.

Community Embrace is a charity led by Herty Adu-Twumwaa and her team of volunteers.

They are a non-profit organisation aiming to promote diversity, advance cohesion and integration and encourage dialogues by connecting people of diverse backgrounds together. Their range of services include surplus food aid and community engagement activities. 

As National Volunteer Week has just ended, we wanted to pay tribute to all those who are part fo Community Embrace.

They have been a valuable asset in Harlow, especially in these uncertain times.
