Election 2022: Why Harlow businesswoman Danielle is standing for the Conservatives

IF there is a common thread among a number of candidates in this year’s local elections it is a desire to get involved more in the life of the community.
For some people, like Danielle Brown, the business woman and mother-of-four, she seemed to be busy enough.
However, after a tough experience trying to get a business relief grant during Covid and then being in discussion with the local Conservatives, Danielle, decided that she wanted to take things to the next level.
In many ways, if people ever wonder who the 27,510 Harlow voters were who put an X next to the Conservative box in the last General Election, then you may want to watch Danielle’s interview.
And this interview is typical of Danielle’s daily life: Finish work, rush home to see the children, out again for this interview, back home and then out canvassing. Eat, sleep, repeat.

Good promotion of your own business. It's not all about grants. It's about local issues for local people. Not a mention 0f 5000 people waiting for homes, 99 council being built, up against thousands of unaffordable. Conservatives want to destroy our stort river valley, with 6,000 signatures against this. Pot holes. People needs and wants for this town. People voices must be heard. Conservatives are all about national issues, same as labour. The wasted money on both sides of labour and Conservatives is apparent. Things have not been done, voices have not been heard. And it's not all about business people. It's about listening to wants and needs of this community. People s problems, and how you can help .

Business is what brings revenue into the area! Kim -I think you need ask your self where the money comes from to build houses and then ask your self how many where built during labours time at the council! Hardly a promotion about ones self serving ventures when the project she represent serves the community?? This business women aligned her self with a party that represented her views! Small businesses represent a large number in terms of economic revenue. Don’t tell me your in favour of the “You will own nothing and be happy camp” The young people better not aspire to ever own or start a business under Labour or the Green Party! Just do what your told and be happy! Well done Danielle 💪 this is very progressive for Harlow and the Conservative party.

Michelle, where does it say I don't want people to have there own business,haha, I have a small business, but if I was representing my party I would not of promoted my self. It's about local issues people want to hear about. The last year Labour was in, as far as I'm aware it was only 22 council. Conservatives want to build thousands and thousands of unaffordable housing, ask your self is this really thinking of 5000 people waiting on homes, that carnt afford to buy. There are thousands of houses lying empty up and down this country, council homes, going to rack an ruin, they have done nothing about them. People want to know about what there going to do to help the community, local issues, pot holes, policing, ect ect.

Kim, firstly let commend Danielle for her dedication toward the people of Little Pardon & Hare. It take effort to want to help others . We are all Women and must be supportive of other woman regardless of any indifference. Danielle has not just a heart for people but track records shows she is making a difference step by step. Absolutely in agreement that it is not just only about grants so perhaps Danielle is merely expressing and relating her experience to those whom have approached her. I recently first hand witness and discovered that Danielle personally given time helping business throughout difficult times quietly and now campaigning to making a difference. In regards to the building of the new Gilston town and housing bill I believe this was approved ages ago before a conservative run council. A friend was about to complete a property there and discovered this last year and still residence were all unaware . The Conservative party have only recently ran Harlow council so the question is who authorised this prior. It is a shame as the petition are too late as these has been in motion long before any conservative council. We can see what Danielle sets to offer , helping local business and people and perhaps sharing her own experience of why she is running so let’s be supportive towards such bravery. In regards to who gets elected Thursday the 5th May, Danielle is the perfect candidate as she brings in innovative, fresh eye and commitment to helping the people Little Pardon & Hare. Over the last forever Little pardon Hare is and has always been Labour Party ward so perhaps this opportunity is one to cease to bring in change within this ward. It is noted all over Harlow and nationwide that Conservative ran areas are well managed , organised and looks lovely to live in, the people there are proud of the area. Let’s not waste any more vote when the position is clear, Vote Danielle, Vote Tory on the 5th May. It is paramount that voting in a conservative councillor as Danielle is key to bringing about these changes.

Without seeming bias , another point to state is that for any individual claiming to make a difference would need to put it the hours of talking to local people, spending hours knocking on door and resolving case work. During this campaign the time and effort Danielle has put in shows commitment. Danielle has made these efforts and deserve to win. Beside it clearly time for changing of the guards at little Pardon & Hare. Vote conservative, Vote Danielle Vote in the 5th May in other to make Harlow great again in this generation not in 25 years time.

In France, energy bills have risen by 4% because the French Government has imposed a 'windfall tax' on the energy companies. Here in the UK, your bills have risen by 54% because the Conservatives are more interested in corporate profits and shareholder dividends than in hard working families. Let them know that you have had enough of our country being let down by their lies and failure. Vote Labour on May 5th...

She seems to have lots of problems (eg; wasn't given her grants/free money fast enough) but not a single solution. She wants to reduce our council tax. We need funding to repair our terrible roads, rebuild the town centre, clear the litter, make the streets safer, provide educational and safe places for our children, improve the shopping areas, etc. She's just seems annoyed she didn't get her grant/free money easily enough. I don't see one single reason to vote for her other than she probably just wants even more of our money..

Stacy seals, I stand by what I said. Let me tell you, we are campaigners of the river stort valley, we all tried so hard to stop this destruction. It was labour's plans to start this, But it was conservatives councils that approved this monstrosity. Conservatives could of stopped this, but they didn't want to hear us. We handed in petition at heartford with 6,000 signatures on it. They did not want to be seen with us out side, we had to go in. Harlow council never wanted to speak to us from the beginning of this campaign, with the exception of one. Which made no difference in the end. The first meeting for stort was postponed, the second meeting it really was what they wanted, and never really wanted to hear us. So Stacy seals know your facts. We were trying to save this beautiful river, for everybody s wellbeing, as all conservatives want to do is build over all our green spaces. The river stort is the last peaceful place we have in Harlow, hear that everyone, the only place you can walk miles with out pollution, with out interruptions, with out obstacles In the way, which is lovely for disabled people. I repeat the river stort is the last peaceful place we have left in Harlow, and conservatives approved this. We did try and stop this with no avail. I stand 100 per cent on what I've put here.
