AN INQUEST is set to be held following the death of a two-year-old child from Harlow.
Ivy Amaya Rupasinghe, aged 2, died at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge in October 2022.
The inquest will take place at Essex County Council Seax House, Victoria Road South on Monday March 18th at 10am.
She was my daughter’s best friend’s baby sister. She inspired us to have a second one. She was beautiful with kind eyes and she had the loveliest smile. We went on a day long play date less than a week before the incidence at the hospital that led to her death. 9 hours in the Harlow A&E and discharged without antibiotics administered! She was back the next morning with a heart attack. It’s simply horrid and unacceptable. I hope the parents get justice on the inquest.
Ivy rupasinghe, age 2 She was a beautiful little girl who was sadly taken from her family and friends who all loved her very much ,due to hospital not following checks that could have prevented this little 2 year old girls life ,the loss of ivy specially her big sister and parents are suffering the worst pain they could ever suffer in all there lives I hope there is a lesson to be learned from this tragedy I hope with all my heart that justice will be served,🙏
A family should never have to go through this suffering. We rely on the expertise of doctors to ensure that they have the best interest of the people they are taking care of. Unfortunately, the protocols and their lack of care led to an innocent, little girl being taken from her family due to sheer negligence. I pray justice is served and those who are responsible for this ill practice are no longer to serve in their field as they clearly did not care.
Desperately, desperately sad. (I just saw it on the news). My heart goes out to Ivy’s parents and family. Something that should never have happened and absolutely should have been picked up. Her Mum and Dads life will never be the same.. 💕💕💕
