Saint Nicholas School “incredibly proud” as they celebrate GCSE results

Education: Secondary / Thu 22nd Aug 2024 at 10:30am

ALL at Saint Nicholas are incredibly proud of their Year 11 pupils who have achieved excellent GCSE results this year, bucking the national trend of a decrease in the number of pupils being awarded the top grades of 7, 8 and 9.

Headmaster, Terence Ayres said: “This group of Year 11 GCSE pupils has spent every year of their secondary education in the midst of or in the wake of the COVID pandemic, and as Headmaster I could not be prouder of all their achievements, both in and outside the classroom.

“Alongside an excellent set of GCSE results, our Year 11 pupils leave Saint Nicholas School with the confidence and skill set they will require to embrace the challenges of adult life and a set of memories that will last them a lifetime.

“We at Saint Nicholas wish them all the very best and the greatest success, as they embark on the next steps in their journey”.
