HARLOW boxer, Francis Wright has capped another excellent year by winning the prestigious boxer of the year award at Harlow Boxing Club.

Anyone who has seen Francis fight will testify that she is a diligent, hard working and very skilful boxer.

And anyone who has seen her in the gym and/or on the road will know how hard Francis trains.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Francis has now been voted a rolling winner for the last three seasons.

“A great achievement putting on superb performances throughout the UK. Francis won Gold at the England Boxing National Youth Development Championships.

Her performances at this level were terrific. She was noticed by the England Boxing national squad and the youth pathway and from that she has now been invited to join the Team GB training camps.

“She is well overwhelmed by her own achievements. What a massive success.”
