THE HARLOW Circle of Poetry group met this week. Here is their report.
Our poetry circle met up for our first meet-up of the new academic year and what an exciting meeting it was!

As some of you may have been following – after sharing a poem called ‘Home,’ we recently were contacted out of the blue on behalf of its author, an internationally famous and groundbreaking Palestinian poet, Mosab Abu Toha, and his publishing house 4thEstate.
They reached out to say that they had noticed ‘we have a great, dedicated poetry stanza’ and would we like a handful of early proofs of what will be his first poetry collection in the UK entitled ‘Forest of Noise’.
We have been extremely touched by the generous gesture and that our humble poetry stanza has been noticed internationally. We have shared the proofs and look forward to discussing our thoughts on the poems next time.
This just shows how powerful poetry is in uniting people from different corners of the globe.
