A TEENAGE weightlifter from Harlow has just struck Gold at the British Weightlifting Championships.

Lily Stanley, aged 15, came top at the champs in Leeds on October 19th.

Lily won with a 59kg snatch and a 73kg Clean & Jerk.

Lily’s victory means she has made it into the Great Britain weightlifting youth squad.

Lily trains at Reada weightlifting/crossfit club in Thornwood with her coach Lee Ottey.

She has been weightlifting and crossfitting since she was 12 years old .
