Man set to stand trial over racially aggravated assault charge in Joyners Field

A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over a racially aggravated assault as well as a number of other charges.
John Soer, aged 39, of Joyners Field, Harlow has been charged with the following.
On January 3rd, 2024 assaulted a male thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
On January 3rd, 2024 assaulted a male, thereby occasioning him, actual bodily harm.
On January 3rd, 2024 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged mobile phone to the value of unknown belonging to a male intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
The case has been sent to crown court for trial. Soer has been released on unconditional bail.
