THE Harvey Centre is thrilled to share the heartwarming success of its recent Community Easter Egg Appeal. Both shoppers and retailers came together to spread seasonal cheer to the residents of Alexandra House, a local care home that provides care and nursing support for older people.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the local community, all 106 residents of Alexandra House received Easter eggs, bringing joy and smiles throughout the home just in time for Easter weekend.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager, The Harvey Centre says, “We’re incredibly proud to support Alexandra House this Easter and bring a little extra joy to its residents. Community is at the heart of everything we do at The Harvey Centre, and the generosity shown through this appeal truly reflects that spirit.”
In addition, a brand-new mobility scooter—generously donated by Lifestyle and Mobility as part of The Harvey Centre’s Random Acts of Kindness initiative—was gifted to further support residents with limited mobility. The scooter will be available for shared use among residents and is expected to become a vital piece of equipment, helping to enhance day-to-day life within the care home.
The donations not only brightened the season for Alexandra House residents but also reinforced The Harvey Centre’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and bringing people together in meaningful ways.
