FROM 29 May, residents in Harlow can secure their membership at the new David Lloyd Club, which is set to open later this year in the town’s Innovation Park. Following overwhelming demand and sell-out of early memberships during two initial releases at the start of May, online joining is now fully open to the public. A limited number of introductory memberships are now available to purchase online.

The highly anticipated David Lloyd Harlow Club will be a state-of-the-art health and wellbeing destination, offering a comprehensive range of premium facilities. These include a 100+ station gym, both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, racquet facilities including tennis and the exciting new sport of padel, alongside a luxurious Spa Retreat with a tranquil spa garden. Families will also benefit from a host of dedicated amenities designed to keep children active and entertained.

The new David Lloyd Harlow will generate approximately 80-100 jobs in a range of roles – from sport and wellbeing to catering and hospitality. Harlow will be the sixth David Lloyd Club in Essex, joining Clubs in Basildon, Southend, Chigwell, Colchester, and Gidea Park (Romford).

David Lloyd Harlow will centre around a 100-station gym with best-in-class equipment and bespoke group exercise studios hosting over 100 classes a week, including David Lloyd Clubs’ exclusive Signature Class Collection. Members can engage in high-energy workouts such as IGN1TE, find balance in Mind and Body classes including SPIRIT, Pilates and yoga, pedal through exhilarating RHYTHM and CYCLONE group cycling classes, and experience the adrenaline rush from the exclusive HIIT class BLAZE.

The new Club will also feature a luxurious Spa Retreat with premium spa facilities including a Himalayan salt sauna, crystal steam room, cold plunge pool, hydro pool, heated beds, and a tranquil Spa Garden.

David Lloyd Harlow will also bring its signature cushioned acrylic tennis courts and padel facilities. Padel is the world’s fastest growing racquet sport and is quick to learn and simple to adapt to different fitness levels and abilities. The courts are smaller than tennis, but the fast pace of the game offers an excellent workout, and it’s suitable for all the family to play together.

The Club will also offer after school and holiday clubs for children, as well as swimming and tennis coaching, and group ‘Rebels’ classes where children can exercise together with their family.
