Armed officers swoop on man in Clifton Hatch and arrest him on firearm charge

FIREARMS officers deployed in the Harlow area to assist Metropolitan Police colleagues with an investigation into alleged firearms offences.
As part of these inquiries, a vehicle was stopped in the Clifton Hatch area at around 8.50pm on Thursday 29 May.
Clifton Hatch is off Commonside Road in Harlow.
A man 20-year-old man, from Harlow, was arrested and a suspected converted imitation firearm was seized alongside quantity of suspected ammunition and a knife.
Ashdon Maddocks, 20, of Longfield, Harlow, has subsequently been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a knife in public, possession of ammunition without a certificate and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Saturday 31 May.

Crack down on the illegally converted e-bikes, e-scooters and balaclarvad youths who freely roam the town and congregate in the town centre in groups. Make it impossible for the drugs to be moved around and sold. Come on, this can't be allowed to continue, it's in plain sight

I saw police arrest a man in bush fair on an E scooter they confiscated the scooter and took the man away however the day aftera tall thin woman with tatoes flew past me as I was about to cross the road on my mobility scooter. She was driving her E scooter down the center of the road as if she owned it at least 20mph. The police have a hard task to combat these cursed e scooters.

Build more prisons, sort out the useless sentencing guidelines, remove some of the useless Judges. The Police do their job, the Judiciary lets them down. Take the useless re-offending scum off the streets. Let’s all live peacefully.
