WE have heard from the politicians regarding the extension to free school meals.
But we have also asked a number of headteachers.
Our interview with the chief executive of the Passmores Co-Operative Learning Community.
We also asked the chief executive of the Our Lady of Fatima Trust, Ian Kendal. Mr Kendal said: “When a child is nourished, a future is nurtured.”
Providing more free school meals to more children is a positive step to reducing the financial challenges that many parents face. This action will bring more families out of poverty and will reduce the stress and anxiety many families face.
“A free school meal will ensure children are well fed which is essential for great learning. This is not only right for the child but also builds a future for our country.
More follows.
