GRIFFIN Bowls Club celebrated their silver jubilee last weekend.

A special weekend of events were held at their base in the Latton Bush Centre.

There was a long history of bowls before 2000, but Griffin saw the coming together of a number of bowls clubs.

On Saturday evening, a special buffet event was held with among the guests, Harlow MP Chris Vince and Daniel Robinson’s Phil Clegg.

They are really a special community bowls club and are so very welcoming.
