Scout’d: The new app giving grassroots footballers a digital platform to be seen

IN a game where only a fraction of talent gets noticed, a new football app is stepping in to change that narrative.
Scout’d, the brainchild of Adam Connolly, is a digital platform designed to give every footballer — from grassroots to semi-pro — the tools to build their own football CV, track their stats, and showcase their journey season by season.

“Too many players get overlooked simply because they don’t have the right platform,” says Connolly, founder of Scout’d. “If you’re not in an academy, you’re relying on highlight clips and word of mouth — and in today’s digital world, that’s just not enough.”
Scout’d allows players to create verified profiles, upload match stats, share video highlights, and gain visibility among scouts, coaches, and clubs — all in one central hub built specifically for football.
“This is more than just an app,” Connolly continues. “It’s a movement to level the playing field. Every player matters. Every player has a story. We’re here to give them the platform they deserve.”
The app, set to launch later this year, has already generated strong interest from investors and ambassadors — including ex-pros Clyde Best, John Moncur and Kem Izzet, who have joined the mission to support emerging talent.
“We’re combining football, tech, and purpose,” Connolly adds. “We want to give power back to the players. Whether you’re 13 or 30, you should be able to build your profile, track your performance, and be seen — just like the pros.”
With over 275 million players worldwide and a growing appetite for data-driven recruitment, Scout’d is positioning itself as the go-to app for the future of football scouting.
what a good idea
