ON Saturday, September 6th, Bethel Prayer Fellowship International held its annual youth anniversary celebration in Stevenage.
The event brought together members from various branches, with the Harlow branch actively participating in a wide range of creative and uplifting programmes.

The celebration featured solos, dance choreographies, encouraging testimonies, and several special performances, many of which were new additions to the usual lineup. The variety added freshness to the event, keeping the audience fully engaged throughout the day.

Notably, the majority of these inspiring performances were presented by young children aged 10 and under, who showed remarkable confidence, enthusiasm, and creativity on stage. Their performances brought laughter and joy to the audience, who expressed how much they enjoyed seeing the children’s confidence shine and how well they performed.
During the event, new leaders and helpers were chosen for various roles within the youth ministry, providing opportunities for growth and responsibility among the young members.
The final programme was a group song with the whole Harlow church together, smashing it with everyone’s voices in unison.
Toward the end of the programme, the focus turned to academic and spiritual achievement. Trophies and certificates were awarded to all students who successfully completed another year of Sunday school. Covering ages 4 to 17.
Remarkably, every student from the Harlow branch passed their end-of-year exams with scores above 90%, with several achieving a perfect score of 100%.
Reflecting on the day, Church member Stanley Thomson said,
“It was an entertaining programme where several talents were shown, even though it went on for a few hours, I couldn’t tell, as it was very enjoyable. I hope to have more of these youth anniversaries in the future, its great to see the kids grow.
“The day was a wonderful reflection of the vibrant youth community and strong spiritual foundation within Bethel Prayer Fellowship International”.
It shows Britain's ethnic minorities are the ones keeping alive the notion that "Britain is a Christian country."
