Community Colours peace and unity walk set for Sunday

REVEREND Jokey Poyntz and Cllr James Griggs invite you to join them on Sunday 21st September in a demonstration of community unity.
The Community Colours Peace & Unity Walk will bring together our diverse and multicultural communities in a display of support and solidarity, a challenge to those who would sow hatred and division, showing that Harlow is a welcoming place for all.

The walk will depart from playhouse Square, circle the Town Centre and finish at St Paul’s Church where participants can add ribbons to the Community Colours Peace & Unity Wall.
Participants are invited to bring cake to share with others over a cup of tea in the church hall after the walk.
Assemble: Playhouse Square at 3pm
Walk departs at 3:15pm
Returning to St Paul’s around 4pm for tea and cake
What a wonderful initiative by Revd Jokey Poyntz and Labour Group Leader councillor James Griggs. This reminds me of Nelson Mandela saying: "Man's goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished.”
