THE HARLOW Hindu Society held its Dussehra celebration on Friday evening.

Dussehra, also known as  Vijayadashami, is a Hindu festival celebrating the victory of good over evil.

Chair Nishall Garala said: “A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Dussehra celebration. What a joy it was to celebrate together and see so many friendly faces.

“We were also delighted to welcome Chris Vince, MP for Harlow, and Jo Ward, Interim Chief Nurse at The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust, who joined us in marking this special occasion.

“We were also joined by a number of stall holders who provide vital services in Harlow, thank you to them for coming too.

“We wish everyone a very Happy Dussehra!
