ST Mark’s Sixth Form student Chloe Fry has been selected for the England Netball Level 3 Diploma in Sporting Excellence programme delivered by Loughborough College and England Netball. There were only 65 places on this programme for 2025-2027.
The qualification will aim to support Chloe’s development throughout the performance pathway over the next two years alongside her A levels (Performing Arts, Physical Education, Psychology and English Literature).
Chloe will study and train at national camps held at Loughborough College across the first year of their DISE qualification.

These three camps allow athletes to meet selected performers from other franchises and regions and ensures they experience a range of coaching methods to help develop their on-court game. ” I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity. It’s a chance to develop my skills, learn from experienced mentors, and contribute to a sport I am passionate about. I am excited for this journey and will ensure I make the most of every moment. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me to get this far.”
Across the programme guest speakers and industry experts provide advice and guidance for elite athletes moving through the England Netball player pathway. In addition, the Diploma in Sporting Excellence carries 64 UCAS points to help performers with their ongoing progression in to Higher Education, allowing them to continue on a dual career pathway. DiSE has a number of notable alumni who have progressed to the England Roses squad and CWG gold medalists. These include: Helen Housby, Natalie Metcalf and Ellie Caldwell.
