HARLOW Town Football Club has been placed into administration.

Your Harlow attended this afternoon’s home game against Arlesley Town and spoke to a representative from the club who confirmed that this was the case.

The administrators are MHA , an Independent UK member of Baker Tilly International.

Representatives of MHA were in attendance at the game as well.

These are obviously early days but a representative was able to confirm that there has not been any job losses.

The manager of Harlow Town, Danny Chapman has decided to step down we were told.

Syrus Gordon was in charge of today’s game.

It has yet to be established whether the club will be deducted any points. YH will continue to pursue that with the FA on Monday.

Harlow MP, Chris Vince, a dedicated Harlow Town fan, was present at the game and also spoke to representatives.

Mr Vince said: “I have had a conversation and appreciate the representatives speaking to me.

“My main concerns are for the future of the club and issues such as jobs.

“People know that I attend as many games as I can and will continue to communicate with all concerned.”

There will be more information to come.

For many, it was about getting today’s game played.

More follows.
