IT looks like there could be light at the end of the tunnel regarding the sale of Harlow Town Football Club.
The club was placed in administration following legal proceedings in the courts.
The administrators MHA , an Independent UK member of Baker Tilly International has issued the following statement.

A spokesperson said: “The joint administrators – Liam Short and Andrew Duncan of MHA – can confirm that confidential negotiations around a potential sale of Harlow Town FC have reached an advanced stage.
“In the meantime, the joint administrators and their agents, continue to trade the football club, pending any sale.”
Naturally, the whole process has been very frustrating for Harlow Town fans. They are desperate for this business to be concluded and to see a fresh start for a club that was founded in 1879.
An industry expert told YH that there is no fixed period for “administration”. Championship side Sheffield Wednesday went into administration back in September and have just now reached the “preferred bidder” stage.
Last week, a new organisation called Harlow Town Football Club (2026) Limited was registered on Companies House. The one director is Gareth Saunders. Mr Saunders is also a director of the company which successfully applied to place Harlow Town Football Club Limited into administration.
I hope this Sale takes place, as the Loyal Supporters of HTFC deserve to see this Club saved from Disappearing completely. It has happened to often in the past, where we have had to come back from adversity. I keep my fingers crossed for all the Loyal Supporters it will be completed.
The amount the supporters have moaned over the last 5 years makes this laughable, good luck Mr Saunders, you'll need it with those fans.
Gary Saunders should be nowhere near harlow town football club in any standing what so ever, he was part of the problem and if he stays will always be!! The fans want him gone and a completely fresh start with no lingering Ponzi scheme in the background with dead money!!
