SHINSEIKYU Karate Academy held their three-monthly grading at the Honbu (Head) Dojo on the 21st March 2026, under the watchful eye of Sensei Darvill-Bessent 7th Dan Black belt.

51 Students were tested on the knowledge of Basics, Combinations, Pre arranged  & Freestyle Fighting moves as well as Kata (Set Sequences of moves) along with their  physical fitness.

The pass rate was 98% overall.

The Academy are holding a come & try session during the Easter school break on the 8th April at 4pm in their full time Dojo in Churchfields.

All three have been training for three years with the Academy.
