Harlow resident pleads guilty to drug driving

A MAN has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs.

Heston Boateng, aged 33, of Canons Brook, Harlow, pled guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On January 1st, 2026 at Harlow drove a Audi A4 on the M11 at Junction 7, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, in your blood namely not less than 17 micrograms of drug per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit.

The next hearing is scheduled for January 20th, 2027.

today I learned there is a legal limit for illegal drugs - surly one could also prosecute for then having been in possession of illegal drugs also.

Don't be silly that's more paperwork and another hearing he pleaded guilty just sentence him no wonder the courts are so far behind probably get suspended sentence and cormunal which he won't bother to do don't forget to take his licence away for at least 10 years and make him resite test again (but probably drive with out one 😒)
