WE weren’t sure what to expect when we went to visit Kingsmoor Academy on Wednesday but what a fantastic afternoon.

Their guests all day were singer-songwriter, Shelly Nelson and DJ Arthur, on half of Artful Dodger.

They had been involved in lessons all morning. After lunch, the whole school gathered in the hall for more singing and then a special announcement.

The whole school had been invited to go to Ravertot in Southend on August 31st.

What a lovely gesture. As you can see, the whole school was very excited.

We know that the PTA at Kingsmoor have done a lot of work for the school so well done.
