Harlow man set to stand trial over possession of metal baseball bat

A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over an allegation in relation to an offensive weapon.

Harry Billington, aged 27, of Upper Stonyfield, Harlow was charged with the following at Colchester magistrates court.

On March 15th, 2026 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely Hare Street Springs, an offensive weapon, namely metal baseball bat.

His next appearance is scheduled for July 15th, 2026 at Chelmsford Crown Court.

There is no indication of a plea at this point.
