Council launch pathways to employment

ADULT Community Learning Essex is enrolling learners on Pathways to Employment, a practical programme aimed at improving learners’ chances of finding and maintaining employment.
The course is aimed at the unemployed and covers a variety of subjects including finding and applying for jobs online, successful interview skills, improving communication and organisational skills and career planning.
The course is available throughout Essex including Basildon, Canvey, Clacton, Chelmsford, Colchester, Harlow, Harwich and Witham.
Councillor Ray Gooding, Essex County Council Cabinet Member for Education and Lifelong Learning, said: “If you are currently unemployed then I would highly recommend Pathways to Employment as a fantastic way of improving your chances of getting a job.”
The course is free of charge to eligible learners.
