The Jura is out as police seek whisky thief

POLICE
are appealing for information following the theft of a large amount of Scottish whisky in Harlow.
A thief climbed over a fence of the Co-op store on Maunds Hatch shortly before 7pm on Thursday, March 13 and stole three boxes of the spirit. Each box contained six bottles each, worth a combined overall total of approximately £650.
Investigating Officer, Pc Mark Smith, said: “These bottles are very distinctive and unique, hence why they are expensive. We want to know who stole them and where these bottles now are. Those people who have been offered them should contact us.”
Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact investigating officers at Harlow’s Neighbourhood Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
