Aveley 1 v 2 Harlow Town

HARLOW got back to winning ways with a hard earned victory against Aveley at the Mill Field.

Aveley have recently put a string of good performances together and tested Harlow for the duration of the game.

Harlow opened the scoring in the 10th minute when sneaked in at the far post.

Harlow had their chances to extend the lead but did not take them. Hard working Aveley made them pay for it as they equalised through Jack Stevenson.

The winner came in controversial circumstances as Alex Read put the ball away, when the home team thought he was offside.
