A TRAIL of devastation has been left in a Harlow street after cars ploughed into a number of houses.

The incident happened at just after 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon in North Grove, Harlow.

At this stage, there is one car that is lodged just inches from the front porch of a house on the north side of the road (heading towards the Phoenix)

On the other side of the road, two cars parked in their driveway have been smashed into.

Essex Police are at the scene and have sealed off the road.

Soon after the incident, two motorbikes, without lights sped down the road. A police car followed it but in slow pursuit. It is unknown if these events are connected.
