THE HARLOW community was in mourning today after receiving the news that a popular teenager had passed away.

YH understands that Marcel Jayden passed away on Sunday morning at his address in Warley Hook in Harlow.

Floral tributes have been arriving all morning on Monday as the news broke of his death.

The news of Marcel’s death has hit the Passmores Academy community hard as Marcel was a former pupil.

A spokesperson for the East of England ambulance service said: We received a call yesterday (Sunday) at 9.42 am to reports of a person in cardiac arrest in Harlow.

“An ambulance crew was on scene in less than five minutes, shortly followed by two ambulance officers.

“Sadly, nothing could be done for the patient and he was pronounced dead at the scene, our thoughts are with his friends and family during this dark time”.
