HARLOW Running Club had a good turnout at the St. Clare 10K, with 26 runners
helping to raise much need funds for the hospice. The race was run over an
undulating course at Hastingwood, just outside Harlow. Rob Lowe finished in 2nd
place out of 251 finishers in 36min 41sec. He was followed home by
Rich Hynes 5th in a personal best time for the distance (PB) of 37min 30sec,
Jamie Jephcott 11th in 39.30, Alan Broughton 13th in 39.42 and Roy Steven was
35th and 1st Vet 60 in 43.55. There were also PB runs from Brendon MacLean 22nd
in 40.54, Andy Ramage 50th in 46.08 and Steve Crosby 230th in 69.05.

Meanwhile at the Manchester Marathon Paula Reynolds, in her debut at the
distance, finished in 2109th place out of 15,149 finishers in a superb 3hrs
34min 47sec. She was followed by Faith Jackson-Lee 4419th in a PB time by over
16 minutes of 4.00.53, and in their debut at the distance, Paul Lee 5226th in
4.12.47, Debbie Barry 5327th in 4.14.04 and Jane Evans 7391st in 4.46.30.

At the Rome Marathon Will Wall, in his second marathon in as many weeks,
finished in 2029th place out of 13,879 finishers in a superb 3hrs 31min 23sec.

At the Vienna Marathon Louise Cootes finished in 5569th place out of 6475
finishers in 4hrs 40min 29sec.

At the Cambourne 10K in Cambridge Andy Kinney finished in 569th place out of 879
finishers in 59min 38sec.

At the Gunpowder parkrun 5K at Waltham Abbey Jamie Jephcott finished in 2nd
place out of 88 finishers in a fantastic 18min 58sec, Sharon Wright 15th and 1st
Female in 21.25 and Spencer Brooks 21st in 22.52.

At the Hatfield Forest parkrun 5K Owen Haigh finished in 9th place out of 150
finishers and 3rd Junior in 20min 36sec and Jason Haigh 17th in 22.08.

At the Harlow parkrun 5K Terry Ridge finished in 6th place out of 98 finishers
in 22min 11sec. He was followed by John Bull 9th in 22.47, Paul Dixon 19th in
24.02, Hossein Erfani 47th and 2nd Vet 60 in 30.33 and Pushpa Mistry 49th and
2nd Female Vet 50 in 30.57.

At the Panshanger parkrun 5K at Hertford Sean Flynn finished in 36th place out
of 210 finishers and 1st Vet 55 in 22min 51sec. He was followed by Graham
Saville 50th and 3rd Vet 55 in 24.10, Alan Wellbelove 52nd in 24.14, Robin
Lozeau 53rd and 1st Vet 60 in 24.17, Martyn Coulter 54th in 24.18, Louise Kedge
82nd in 26.34 and Andy Kinney 116th in 29.50.
