Man left with life-threatening injuries after collision at The Stow

Statement from Essex Police
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision which left a man with serious injuries.
The incident happened at 4.10pm on Sunday November 13 on First Avenue at the junction with The Stow in Harlow.
A pedestrian, a 49-year-old man from Harlow, was in collision with a black Vauxhall Astra.
The man suffered serious head injuries and remains in a serious condition at the Royal London Hospital.
Witnesses to the crash can contact PC Paul Lindup at the Chigwell Road Policing Unit on 101.

Statement from ambulance service
“The ambulance service was called at 4.10pm yesterday to First Avenue, Harlow, to a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
An ambulance crew and two rapid response vehicle attended.
They treated a man, believed to be in his 30s.
He was taken to Royal London Hospital in a life-threatening condition.

EMERGENCY services have been in attendance on First Avenue at the back of The Stow.
Crews attended at just before 5pm on Sunday afternoon
