Knife-wielding cyclists terrorise dogwalker

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a dog walker was threatened with a knife.

The victim, a man in his sixties, was in Tendring Road, Harlow, with his dog when two men came over the hill on bicycles at about 10.15am to 10.30am on Thursday June 27.

One of the men told him to get his dog out of the way before pulling out a knife and threatening him.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged 15 to 19, and 5ft 7ins tall.

He had dark brown semi-curly hair, brown eyes, and was clean shaven. He wore a grey hooded top with red piping around the hood, grey tracksuit bottoms and scruffy trainers, and was riding a multi-coloured pedal cycle.
