TO celebrate the exciting changes at Lakeside, intu is inviting everyone to a party on 13th and 14th July. Featuring two jam-packed days of music and dance, food and drink, family fun, local community groups and surprises around every corner, the intu Lakeside Summer Party is going to be one to remember.

Everyone’s invited to join in the fun, whether they’re five or 95. From an urban beach to performances by Britain’s Got Talent’s Julian Smith and the UK’s top sports freestylers, to workshops with Marvin’s Magic School and face painting by Colchester Zoo, the phrase ‘there’s something for everyone’ has rarely been more apt. Local Rock Choir groups and the Essex Chordsmen have also be invited to showcase their talent as intu Lakeside brings the community together for one weekend.

Izzie Peskett, intu Lakeside’s Marketing Manager, says: “There have been a lot of changes happening here at intu Lakeside, from the new name to new uniforms and a whole new approach to the shopper experience.

This event will be a celebration of the changes and a preview of what’s still to come in th=
e future – and we look forward to showing our shoppers what else we’ve got planned!”

The intu Lakeside Summer Party will take place between 10am and 6pm on Saturday 13th July and 11am and 5pm on Sunday 14th July, with a special switch on for the new lights of the iconic spire at 8:45pm on 13th.

Entertainment will be available right across the centre and entry, as usual, is completely free.
