A PREGNANT woman was involved in a road traffic collision involving an ambulance.

The collision took place on the Epping Road near to the Hastingwood roundabout on Friday morning.

Update: Firefighters released the woman by 11:12hrs using one set of cutting equipment.

Crews also gave first aid to four other casualties injured as a result of this RTC.

The woman was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.

This incident involved an ambulance.

No one in the ambulance was trapped.
