Essex Police have widened to cordoned off area to the following:

3rd Ave shut b/t 2nd Ave + Abercrombie Way + Haydens Road to Dads Wood

POLICE have cordoned off Third Avenue in Harlow after reports of a “very serious accident”.

It appears that an accident has occured near to the Haydens Road end of the avenue.

Police are operating a diversion but traffic is already building up on Second Ave, all the way back to the Clock Tower roundabout.

Emergency services are in attendance.

Reports suggest it is a two car road traffic collision.
