Alberni String Quartet to say farewell to Peter Pople

THE ALBERNI STRING Quartet will be saying farewell to Peter Pople on Sunday.
A special concert will be held at the St John’s Arc at 8pm on Sunday November 10th.
The concert celebrates their thirty years association with the ARC.
Mozart – String quartet K.428, Haydn – String quartet Op77 no.1,
Beethoven – String quartet Op135.

I knew Peter at school in Barkingside, although I was couple of classes down. He was always destined to do well, and I remember him visiting the school, playing "The Lark Ascending" when I was a young violinist. Great moment for all of us. Give him my best wishes. John Towell.
