CHILDREN First was established in April 1999 and is an independent Fostering Agency which provides a high quality fostering service for children and young people within the age range birth to 18 years. The Agency is managed and staffed by highly qualified practitioners.

Children First is a multicultural Agency, which caters for children and young people from various cultures and backgrounds. Whenever possible we aim to place children with foster carers who are drawn from similar cultures and backgrounds.

YH went along to their offices in Basildon to speak to Carer Recruitment Officer about the work that they do, the opportunities and the first steps on the journey to becoming a carer.
