IT WAS a cold but clear evening as hundred of revellers and shoppers flocked to various parts of the town centre in Harlow to see the lights come on and Christmas festivities begin.

It was a very well organised evening with events going on all over the town from choirs in the market square, giant angels in the Harvey Centre to boy band MAD singing in the Water Gardens.
