HARLOW Rock School will be hosting an end of term performance on December 20th featuring new and upcoming young bands. Rock School students ranging from 11-19 will be performing music from a mix of genres and of course a few Christmas songs, with light refreshments and mince pies available.
Rock School organiser Sue Wood said of the event, “The Christmas showcase will be a first for some of our performers, It will be a packed night of music with the all the students getting a chance to perform.”
“We have an amazing new young band made up of 11 and 12 year olds entertaining the family audience, alongside several new bands with exciting new sets including songs from Deaf Havana to Fleetwood Mac. The wide mix of songs means there is something for everyone, all the bands will also have a little Christmas number too. Expect to be amazed by the talent that these young people have to offer.”
The Rock School Christmas Showcase will be held at The Hub on Harberts Road, Friday 20th December at 19:00pm. The showcase is free to attend but Rock School volunteers will be armed with collection buckets with all donations going towards keeping the Rock School going.
