POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was injured in a road collision in Harlow.

The teenager’s mum contacted officers on Thursday November 14 to say her son had been struck by a car in Tripton Road at the junction with Tendering Road at around 7pm that evening.

The car did not stop after the collision. It is described as a dark coloured three door vehicle which may have been a Renault.

The victim, who lives in Harlow, suffered deep cuts and grazing which needed hospital treatment.
