A MAN has been charged, and another arrested, following an incident in Harlow where a 17-year-old boy was assaulted.

Dean Neil, 20, of Altham Grove, Harlow, was charged with grievous bodily harm without intent and assault in connection with the incident in Woodwards, Harlow, on the evening of Friday November 22.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Chelmsford Magistrates Court on November 25, where he was given court bail to next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on February 17, 2014.

A second man, aged 20 and from Harlow, was bailed until January 9, 2014, pending further enquiries. Anyone with information, who has not yet spoken to police, is urged to contact officers at Harlow on 101.
