A MAN was cut free from his vehicle after a two-car smash on Elizabeth Way on Saturday night.

The incident happened at 20.50 hrs.

Firefighters used two sets of cutting equipment to release then man trapped.

Firefighters removed the roof of the vehicle and had released the man by 21:21hrs.
