Harlow 0 v 3 Basildon 2nds A MUST win game for Harlow facing Basildon on home turf for the last game this half of the season. Harlow ladies started with some good play after winning the toss and had some early breaks. Undeterred, Basildon had a fair amount of control of play and a quick deflection from one of their attackers put them ahead. An end to end half with both teams having some good phases of play. The home side remained positive and persevered gaining a couple of corners which were well defended and unable to yield the equaliser. The second half the opposition came back strongly and seemed to dominate the game. Harlow lacked confidence and conceded another goal shortly. Despite a reshuffle within the team they were still outplayed seemingly losing previous form from the first half. A few opportunities were made with a shot from Tweddle going wide. Byers made a break assisted by Shearman. Despite our best efforts and fairly decent play we conceded the match 0-3. Player of the match Anita Shearman.
