HARLOW Running Club member Steve Murtagh was first Harlow runner to
finish the third round of the Metropolitan Cross Country League, held
over a very muddy, hilly and energy sapping course at Alexandra Palace
Park. Murtagh finished in 108th place out of 408 finishers and 3rd Vet
45 in an excellent 31min 45sec. He was followed home by John Tennant
336th in 40min 03sec, Sean Flynn 355th in 41min 48sec and Andy Ramage
397th in 46min 45sec.

Meanwhile at the Gunpowder Parkrun 5K at Waltham Abbey Julia Gardiner
finished in 22nd place out of 72 finishers in a superb 23min 39sec.
