Disruption to rail services from Harlow

GREATER Anglia trains between London Liverpool Street and Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Hertford will not be running this weekend as a result of tracks being renewed.

Instead, buses will replace trains between Tottenham Hale/Edmonton Green and Hertford East/Bishop’s Stortford.

Operator GA says track renewal work taking place today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) will affect Liverpool Street trains to and from Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted Airport and Hertford East.

On both days, Cambridge-Liverpool Street services will terminate and start at Bishop’s Stortford, with bus connections to and from Chingford for a train connection to/from Liverpool Street.

Stansted Express services betwee the airport and London will be replaced by a direct bus, with a shuttle train service running to Bishop’s Stortford for local connections.

Bishop’s Stortford to Stratford services will not run today (Sat).

Hertford East to Liverpool Street services will be replaced by buses to/from Chingford for a train connection to/from Liverpool Street.

Cheshunt to Liverpool Street services will be diverted to start/terminate at Enfield Town, with bus connections to/from Cheshunt via Southbury loop stations.

Additional services will operate between London and Chingford in relation to the above service alterations.

There will be no Greater Anglia services at Tottenham Hale, Northumberland Park, Angel Road, Ponders End, Brimsdown, Enfield Lock and Waltham Cross. Passengers are asked to use nearby stations on the Enfield Town and Cheshunt via Seven Sisters line.
