Rush hour woes for rail commuters (again!)
News / Thu 9th Jan 2014 at 09:40am
OVERHEAD wire problems are causing delays of up to an hour for passengers on trains between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge through Harlow this morning (Thursday, January 9).
The wires are down between Great Chesterford and Whittlesford Parkway stations north of Bishop’s Stortford.
Greater Anglia say services via these stations may be cancelled or delayed at short notice.
Stansted Express services from the airport to the capital are unaffected.
As an alternative, Greater Anglia passengers can use First Capital Connect, London Underground and London buses via any reasonable routes.
