FACE the Challenge is a pilot project being run by the Jack Petchey Foundation in BASILDON and HARLOW. We are asking young people to pitch “Dragon’s Den” style for funding for a group or community project of their choice. We want you to identify areas of need, make a funding application and then pitch your ideas to a panel of experts.
From the funding applications received EIGHT ideas will be shortlisted to be presented to the panel of experts. Once the eight ideas have been pitched, the panel will then select FIVE successful ideas – each will receive upto a maximum of £2,000 funding towards their project!
Not only that – we will also offer the 8 shortlisted finalists public speaking training to help them to pitch their idea and sell themselves and their project.
Full details can be found here.
