Inquest hears of death of Mark Hall student

A FORMER Mark Hall student died when he lost control of his car on a bend in Hatfield Heath an inquest heard.

Connor Ashmore, of The Plashetts, Sheering, oversteered when his Vauxhall Corsa began to rotate and collided with a clump of tree stumps on the verge in Pond Lane, Hatfield Heath, in the early hours of November 30 last year.

The vehicle’s driver’s door struck the trees sideways and Mr Ashmore suffered chest wall injuries. He was confirmed dead at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow.

Essex assistant coroner Eleanor McGann recorded a verdict of accident.
