Boy robbed of red dirt bike in Newhall

DETECTIVESbikenew in Harlow have issued a photograph of a distinctive, bright red dirt bike which was stolen from a 16 year old boy in Harlow yesterday (April 19).

Around 6.40pm the victim was riding along the path between Newhall and London Road in Harlow when he was approached from behind by somebody in a grey hoody who held a pointed weapon against his back and demanded the bike. The suspect is described as slim build and spoke with a deep voice who then rode off on the stolen bike.

The bike was custom built and is bright red with black wheels and red hubs. Detectives want to hear from anyone who knows where this bike is now. Dc Mike Ferguson said: “If anyone sees this in a garden, or sees someone riding it around the Harlow area, I urge them to contact police at Harlow CID on 101.”
